At High Flyers Child Care, LLC we pride ourselves on the relationships we build with children and their families by providing child care service that is genuine and caring. This requires parental involvement, not just at home but in our centers as well. Our goal is to work with parents to help create a positive learning experience and encourage safe exploration for a child.
We provide positive reinforcement and encouragement to help promote a child’s confidence through exploration and the accomplishment of challenging tasks. At High Flyers Child Care, our well-qualified staff members provide children with the windows of opportunity to positively develop their early experiences, which will ultimately lead to their success.
Our curriculum not only meets Child Development Associate (national credential for Infant/Toddler and Pre-K) competencies and goals, but also complies with Edmond public schools standards. High Flyers Child Care, LLC and the Edmond Public School system provide reliable transportation to and from most elementary schools and all Playcare Smart Start Child Development Centers.
Developmental assessments are completed three times per year—fall, winter and spring—and within 45 days of enrolling in a Smart Start program. These assessments track your child’s progress and developmental milestones.
We welcome babies for our infant program as early as six weeks old. Our experienced staff provides the loving care that promotes babies' emotional development during their crucial first years. We work closely with parents to develop routines that meet your and your family's needs.
High Flyers Child Care provides a nurturing, healthy and safe environment for the children to begin developing their large and small motor skills. Language development is encouraged throughout all activities, conversation and music during the day.
As your baby starts becoming a busy bee, our teachers and staff encourage investigation and exploration. Nurturing experiences are a big part of every toddler's day. We provide developmentally appropriate activities for toddlers as they begin exploring, discovering and adapting to their environment.
During this stage, we encourage the expansion and development of social and cognitive concepts. We do this by focusing on music and language development as a part of a child's daily routine and curriculum at this age.
Preschool activities range from singing to reading to creative art. We leave plenty of time for social growth and interaction, but also allow the children's interests to lead the direction of focus for teachers and staff.
Hands on activities lead to the expansion of vocabulary and language concepts. As a result, social skills are being developed and friendships created with fellow students. All of this prepares children for success in preschool.
Our experienced staff focus on providing an enriching learning environment that promotes social, problem-solving, language and physical development.
At this age, gross and fine motor skills are being honed and we focus on encouraging self-help. We also continue the program throughout the summer to meet the needs of year round working parents.
These are the years of independence! We encourage choices, responsibilities, daily activities and active parent involvement. Our goal is to help develop positive character, social and self-help skills.
We provide transportation to and from the following Edmond Public Schools for your convenience: Ida Freeman Elementary, Orvis Risner Elementary, Sunset Elementary, Cross Timbers Elementary, Charles Haskell, Washington Irving Elementary, Westfield, and John Ross Elementary.
The goal of our summer program is to continue to develop your child's abilities even during the summer when school is out. We organize daily activities and field trips as well as tutoring, counseling and athletic teams to create a fun environment and a productive summer for your child.
To qualify, you must come to High Flyers Child Care, fill out the enrollment forms and pay a $25 enrollment fee and an $8 t-shirt fee, plus the first week's tuition of $75. Some field trips may include an additional charge, typically $3.
